उप्र में चुनाव ड्यूटी करने वाले लगभग 700 शिक्षकों की मृत्यु हो चुकी है। इसमें एक गर्भवती महिला भी शामिल है जिसे चुनाव ड्यूटी करने के लिए जबरन मजबूर किया गया।
कोरोना की दूसरी लहर की भयावहता के बारे में एक बार भी विचार किए बिना उप्र की लगभग 60,000 ग्राम पंचायतों में इन चुनावों को कराया गया। बैठकें हुईं, चुनाव अभियान चला और अब ग्रामीण इलाकों में कोरोना का प्रकोप बढ़ता ही जा रहा है। ग्रामीण इलाकों में लोगों की बड़ी संख्या में मृत्यु हो रही है जोकि झूठे सरकारी आंकड़ों से कहीं ज्यादा है। पूरे उप्र के ग्रामीण इलाकों में लोगों की घरों में मृत्यु हो जा रही है और इनको कोविड से होने वाली मौतों के आंकड़ों में गिना भी नहीं जा रहा क्योंकि ग्रामीण इलाकों में टेस्ट ही नहीं हो रहे हैं। सरकार का रुख सच दबाने की तरफ है और उसका अधिकतम प्रयास जनता व लोगों की दिन रात सेवा कर रहे मेडिकल समुदाय को भयभीत करने में रहा है। उप्र में जो घट रहा है वह मानवता के खिलाफ अपराध से कम नहीं है और चुनाव आयोग इसमें भागीदार है।
Over 700 teachers have died in Uttar Pradesh, including a pregnant lady who was forced to attend polling duty for the Panchayat elections. These elections have been conducted in almost 60,000 gram sabhas of UP without any thought of the catastrophic onslaught of the second wave. Meetings were conducted, campaigning continued and the spread of COVID in UP’s villages is now unstoppable. People are dying in numbers far, far above the deceitful official figures. People are dying in homes across rural UP, and these deaths are not being counted as COVID because people aren’t being tested. The government’s actions are designed to cover up the truth and terrorise both the public and the medical community, which is working tirelessly to save lives. What is happening in UP is nothing less than a crime against humanity and the SEC is playing along.
